Founded in 1921, the City of Dayton's Emergency Vehicle Services operation began as a group of City employed mechanics performing maintenance on Dayton Fire Department's first motorized apparatus fleet. Over the years we have evolved into a self-supported operation specializing in fire apparatus and ambulance repair and service. Today, we are the largest emergency apparatus service organization in the Miami Valley area. Our service is designed to comply with the manufacturer's and Ohio Administrative Code requirements, as well as National Fire Protection Association recommendations. Dayton Emergency Vehicle Services will work with you to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and repair services that will ensure your community's emergency response vehicles are maintained properly.
